Raised in Roseville, Matthew graduated from Menlo College School of Business, which is the smallest business school to attain the highest business school accreditation otherwise known as the AACSB Accreditation, with a Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in finance. While going to school full time, Matthew also held a full-time job as a financial analyst at the Palo Alto founding office of Marcus & Millichap, the largest commercial real estate investment company in the nation. Though he was hired as a financial analyst, Matthew attained much experience with the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, specifically retail and apartments. In turn he now holds a real estate agents license. Also, while going to school he founded the Menlo College Real Estate Investment Club.
Before graduating Matthew became an independent insurance agent and upon graduation was sponsored by Questar Capital to become a financial advisor for Next Level Advisors. At Questar Capital, he provided investment services for clients at Plumas Bank covering the Portola, Quincy, Tahoe City and Kings Beach branch as an independent financial advisor.
